Who We Are in the EFT Therapy Collaborative

We are a collective of independently licensed therapists, united by a shared passion for Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and a commitment to providing exceptional care. Each of us brings advanced training in EFT and a deep investment in ongoing learning, supervision, and collaboration—so we can offer the most attuned and effective support to you and the relationships that matter most.

Among our members are internationally recognized EFT Trainers, seasoned Supervisors, and experienced clinicians who are immersed in the practice of EFT. While we each run our own independent practices, we come together as a community—to support one another and to make it easier for you to find a trusted, skilled therapist.

Our Collaborative includes professionals with a wide range of specializations, including:

  • Trauma and complex PTSD

  • Addiction and recovery

  • LGBTQIA+ affirming care

  • Cross-cultural relationships and intergenerational dynamics

  • Parenting and family therapy

  • Grief, anxiety, and depression

  • Affair/ betrayal recovery and repair

We are identity-affirming and deeply committed to creating inclusive, respectful, and culturally responsive spaces. Whatever your background, relationship structure, or life story, you are welcome here.

Why Choose Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)?

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a powerful, research-based approach to healing and strengthening emotional bonds. Whether you’re seeking therapy as an individual, a couple, or a family, EFT offers a path toward greater clarity, connection, and emotional well-being.

Rooted in attachment science, EFT helps you understand the emotional patterns that keep you stuck in negative patterns and guides you toward new ways of responding that foster trust, resilience, and intimacy.

We honor and affirm all identities.
The therapists in our Collaborative are committed to creating spaces where all people feel seen, respected, and valued. We work with individuals, couples, and families of all backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and cultural experiences. Our work is grounded in safety, inclusivity, and curiosity about your unique story.

EFT for Individuals

Individual EFT helps you deepen your connection with yourself. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship wounds, or trauma, this approach offers a way to better understand your emotions and take action to care for your needs. You'll build insight, self-compassion, and greater confidence in how you move through the world.

EFT for Couples and Relationships

Whether you’re in a new relationship, navigating long-standing struggles, healing from betrayal, or seeking more closeness, EFT helps partners interrupt painful interaction cycles and build more secure, loving connections. We welcome all relationship structures and identities—monogamous, polyamorous, queer, straight, and beyond.

EFT for Families

Family EFT supports connection across generations, helping loved ones talk, listen, and understand each other in new ways. Whether parenting teens, healing after divorce or other rupture, or navigating cultural and intergenerational differences, EFT provides tools for more open, responsive, and secure family relationships.

How It Works and Next Steps

If you’re reaching out for therapy, chances are you’re already carrying a lot. Finding the right therapist shouldn’t add to the weight you’re holding.

That’s why we’ve made this part of the process as simple and supportive as possible. Our Collaborative is here to help you find and connect with skilled, compassionate EFT therapists who are a good fit for your needs.

You can start by browsing our Therapist Directory, where you’ll find professionals with a wide range of specializations and backgrounds. Each therapist has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and is committed to creating a safe, affirming, and collaborative space for healing and growth.

When someone stands out to you, just fill out a brief contact form to request a free 15-minute phone “meet and greet.” This is a chance to connect, ask questions, and see if you feel comfortable moving forward together. Your therapist will also share whether your concerns are within their scope of practice and recommend next steps if needed.

All therapists in the Collaborative are independent providers, which means your therapy relationship is just between you and your therapist. There are no extra fees or hidden costs from the Collaborative. We're simply here to make it easier to access high-quality care from trusted EFT professionals.
